1. Your child's application will be electronically submitted when complete. Application will not be complete until your child has taken the assessment test. Deadline for all applicants to test is March 31, 2015 .
  2. The application submitted by your child will be placed in a pool for various programs offered by Pima County Community Services Employment and Training and its partners.  These programs include work experience and basic education.
  3.  As your child progresses through the summer youth application selection process, you will be required to provide additional documentation, including government issued photo identification, household social security cards, and household income verification.
  4. In addition to attending a 1 day orientation session, your child will be required to take a basic education assessment test to determine which program best suits his/her needs. Your child's application process will not be complete until he/she finishes the assessment process.
  5. You will be responsible for the transportation of your child to and from worksite on a daily basis.
  6. Dates and schedules vary by program. Sessions are typically 4-7 weeks long and range from 20-40 hours per week.
  7. Some employers have specific dress codes for employment. Please ensure that your child dresses appropriately for his/her assigned work environment.
  8. Due to the high volume of applicants, and the limited number of spaces available, your child may NOT be selected. If your child is assigned to a program, you or your child will be contacted with start date and location information.
  9. Applicants must be ages 14-21 and reside within Pima County. Verification of date of birth and residency will be required during the orientation process. All those selected to participate will be required at the time of orientation to provide (1) photo identification showing date of birth OR (2) birth certificate or passport plus one other form of acceptable identification.
